Bold, outgoing, and oriented toward full-stack development. This is my self-summary of the profile I want to build for myself, especially for small teams like ours.

I've noticed many companies are adopting the collaboration model of one person plus an agent team.

Breakdown by roles

Sell — reach out to potential clients directly. Listen — act as the direct account manager. Operate — own the full client lifecycle. Augment — leverage AI to go full-stack.

The context: one person + an agent team

Many companies I've been watching lately are adopting this collaboration model — one person plus an agent team. Not a big marketing org, not a big ads budget. Just one person with judgment, and AI covering the surface area a team used to cover.

For a team like ours, headcount is real and budget is real. This isn't a future-of-work essay — it's how we already operate.

Go full-stack with AI

1. You can act directly as sales

You can act directly as sales to reach out to potential clients and sell. If a product is perfect, sales would be meaningless. Honestly, there is no perfect product in the world. So talk to clients boldly — tell them your product can solve one of their problems.

2. You work as the direct account manager for clients

Client feedback on the product comes during their entire usage lifecycle. You need to understand their experience — what works well and what doesn't. This is not limited to enterprise clients. If the product team won't do this job, you have to do it.

3. You take on operations, owning the full client lifecycle

From demand gen, lead capture, pipeline management, activation, and payment conversion, to retention. Build self-sustaining growth flywheels for your channels. Figure out where the biggest gaps are.

4. Leverage AI to go as full-stack as you can

Not to be perfect at everything. To be frank, I cannot find subordinates who can do everything — if they could, I would have to pay them my salary.

For small-size teams, AI acts like additional manpower, not just an efficiency booster. AI helps you find paths to success faster, yet core strategy still sits with humans.

Why B2B marketing is fascinating work

These four points are exactly what I'm doing in my current role. I think B2B marketing is fascinating work. You are not only on the frontline — you also get to shape a truly valuable product.

If you're in a similar seat, or building toward one, I'd love to compare notes.

i
